CAGE is back from a fantastic East Coast run that started deep in the heart of Southern Rock country, Tampa Florida and ended up in the concrete jungle of New York City! This was a no sleep til Brooklyn tour if there ever was one. Many killer photos will soon be posted to the site. The run began at 2 am in Vista, California as the boys drove up to LAX for a 5:30 am flight and Dave missed the 5/405 turn off which added some serious stress to the begginning of the run. Thanks to the iphone GPS, a crazy Compton backroad was found and the gunfire was avoided enough to allow for a timely departure even though the security line looked like it was 5 miles long. The plane landed in Tampa at 4:30pm and it was straight to the venue for soundcheck and prep for the show. The venue was great and our friends from VEINS ICED OVER did a great opening job. Despite Dave's borrowed amp frying, the show went on after Sean got to work on his standup comedy routine for the 10 minute delay it took to borrow an amp from our new friends from FAST TAKER.

After 3 hours of sleep, we headed off to the Tampa airport and caught the next flight to Atlanta to prep for the mighty PROG POWER USA X festival. We landed an actually got to sleep for like 3 hours, then it was off to the venue for a meet and greet and catch the PRIMAL FEAR show. We got in late again after meeting tons of cool fans and people at the event. We actually got the only real sleep of the tour that night and woke to a metal breakfast and quick prep as we went to soundcheck. After many hours of waiting, soundcheck was very short but we didn't care as soundchecks are severly overrated anyways ha!  We donned our leather and delivered a soul smashing onslaught of CAGE fury that seriously melted many faces. This performance will probably be included in the upcoming live DVD. The night was amazing and Sean capped it off with a guest vocal duet with Nils from Pagans Mind on the song RED SHARKS with CRIMSON GLORY.

Of course it was wake up early and catch a flight time the next day as CAGE flew straight into Syracuse, New York and played the cool Binghamton Area Metalfest with the legendary THE RODS and special guests MACHINES OF GRACE (featuring Zak Stevens and Jeff Plate from SAVATAGE / TSO). Everyone was very nice and the sound sytem was great too. The show went great as CAGE blew people's minds there! The next day, we drove into the heart of NYC and shredded up Club Europa with all of our new friends in RAVAGE, MACHINES of GRACE, MARTYRD and PHOENIX REIGN. a Great trip indeed.
